At the conferences, Decision No. 966/QĐ-TCT dated July 23, 2024, of the Director General of the General Department of Taxation on the transfer and appointment of Mr. Le Quoc Dung, Deputy Director of the Nghe An Provincial Tax Department, to the position of Deputy Director of the Ha Tinh Provincial Tax Department effective from August 1, 2024, and Decision No. 965/QĐ-TCT dated July 23, 2024, on the transfer and appointment of Mr. Nguyen Van Duc, Deputy Director of the Ha Tinh Provincial Tax Department, to the position of Deputy Director of the Nghe An Provincial Tax Department, were announced.

Speaking at the conferences, Deputy General Director Phi Van Tuan congratulated Mr. Le Quoc Dung and Mr. Nguyen Van Duc on being trusted by the leaders of the Ministry of Finance and the General Department of Taxation, being unanimously supported by the Provincial Party Committee, and receiving the agreement and consensus of the leadership and party committee of the Tax Department in assigning them the position of Deputy Director of the Tax Department.

According to the Deputy General Director, the transfer and appointment are a major policy of the Party and the State. Based on Regulation No. 65-QĐ/TW dated April 28, 2022 of the Politburo, Resolution No. 02-NQ/BCSĐ dated August 30, 2021 of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Finance, and Directive No. 02/CT-BTC dated July 25, 2023 of the Minister of Finance, the Ministry of Finance and the General Department of Taxation have reviewed and developed a plan for the transfer and appointment of leaders of the Tax Departments. To facilitate the transfer and appointment of civil servants, the General Department of Taxation has reviewed and developed a plan according to the group of Tax Departments with nearby locations, including Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces.

In their new positions, the Deputy General Director requested Mr. Le Quoc Dung and Mr. Nguyen Van Duc to leverage their capacity and experience, promptly grasp the economic and social situation, and the budget collection situation of Ha Tinh and Nghe An provinces; take advantage of the attention, leadership, and direction of the Provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee of the provinces, the Ministry of Finance, and the General Department of Taxation; unite and agree within the Tax Department’s leadership and all civil servants of the Tax Department to assist the Director in directing and managing the units in charge to successfully complete the assigned tasks of 2024 and subsequent years.

The Deputy General Director also hoped that the leaders, key civil servants, and all civil servants of the Ha Tinh and Nghe An Provincial Tax Departments would unite, agree, and create all favorable conditions for the Deputy Directors to access their work and successfully complete the assigned tasks.

Speaking to accept the new assignment, Deputy Director of the Ha Tinh Provincial Tax Department Le Quoc Dung and Deputy Director of the Nghe An Provincial Tax Department Nguyen Van Duc expressed their gratitude for the trust of the leaders of the Ministry of Finance and the General Department of Taxation, as well as the trust of the Provincial Party Committee and People’s Committee.

With the new role and responsibility, this is both an honor and a great responsibility. The officials expressed their desire to continue receiving the attention, leadership, and direction of the leaders at all levels for both themselves and the collective working unit.
