General Tax Department reassigns 3 deputy department heads: Appoints new leaders for Thai Binh Tax Department, Legal Department and Propaganda Department

Hanoi, July 12, 2024 – The General Department of Taxation (GDT) held a conference to announce the decision to reassign and rotate positions for 3 deputy department heads of units under the GDT. The conference was chaired by Deputy General Director Mai Son.
 

3 reassigned officials

  • Mr. Bui Cong Minh – Deputy Head of the Legal Department was reassigned to be Deputy Director of the Thai Binh Provincial Tax Department.
  • Mr. Le Van Hai – Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Taxpayer Support Department was reassigned to be Deputy Head of the Legal Department.
  • Ms. Le Thu Mai – Deputy Head of the Inspection and Audit Department was reassigned to be Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Taxpayer Support Department.

Mobilizing leaders: Improving management efficiency

Speaking at the conference, Deputy General Director Mai Son congratulated the 3 deputy department-level officials of the GDT, including Mr. Bui Cong Minh, Mr. Le Van Hai and Ms. Le Thu Mai, for being trusted by the Ministry of Finance, the GDT and the units to be assigned new tasks.

According to the Deputy General Director, the rotation and mobilization of leaders at all levels is carried out in accordance with Resolution No. 02/NQ-BCSĐ dated August 30, 2021 of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Finance and Directive No. 02/CT-BTC dated July 25, 2023 of the Minister of Finance.

This is a regular activity to improve the efficiency of state management of taxes, contributing to the reform and modernization of the tax sector by 2030.

Trust in the capacity and experience of the leaders

Deputy General Director Mai Son expressed his trust that with the experience and expertise accumulated during their time as leaders, the 3 reassigned deputy department heads will successfully fulfill their tasks in their new positions and continue to make contributions to the work of the new units.

Specific tasks assigned to each official

Assigning tasks to the newly appointed Deputy Director of the Thai Binh Provincial Tax Department, Mr. Bui Cong Minh, Deputy General Director Mai Son requested Mr. Bui Cong Minh to quickly grasp the work in his new position, strive to improve his knowledge and expertise in tax management; promptly grasp the local situation; seek the attention and leadership of the Provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee of Thai Binh province, the Ministry of Finance, the General Department of Taxation, unite and agree within the Tax Department’s leadership and all civil servants of the Thai Binh Provincial Tax Department to help the Director direct and manage the units to complete the assigned tasks of 2024 and the following years.

For the newly appointed Deputy Head of the Legal Department, Mr. Le Van Hai, and the newly appointed Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Taxpayer Support Department, Ms. Le Thu Mai, the General Department’s leaders requested that in their new positions, the 2 Deputy Heads would bring their accumulated knowledge and experience to work with the leadership of the two departments to develop many solutions, improve and enhance the quality of work of the new units, meeting the requirements of tasks in line with the strategy of reforming and modernizing the tax sector by 2030.

On behalf of the 3 reassigned officials, Deputy Head Le Van Hai spoke to receive the assignment and expressed his gratitude to the leaders of the Ministry of Finance and the General Department of Taxation for their trust and assignment of the officials to take on new assignments at the new unit.

The conference took place in a solemn and joyful atmosphere, reflecting the determination of the 3 reassigned officials to successfully complete their assigned tasks, contributing to the development of the Tax sector.

The reassignment and rotation of leaders is an important activity to contribute to improving the efficiency of state management of taxes, and to promote reform and modernization of the tax sector. With their capacity and experience, the 3 reassigned leaders promise to make positive contributions to the tax sector in the coming time.
