điều chỉnh lương tối thiểu vùng

The Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs is actively preparing for the regional minimum wage adjustment plan for 2025, promising positive changes for workers across the country.

Comprehensive Review, Ensuring Workers’ Rights

Invalids and Social Affairs has sent a document requesting localities to thoroughly review the application of the 2024 regional minimum wage, while proposing adjustments to the current zoning. This is particularly important as district-level administrative units have undergone many changes in names and boundaries according to resolutions of the National Assembly Standing Committee.

Listening to Opinions from All Sides

To ensure objectivity and comprehensiveness, localities will coordinate with export processing zone and industrial park management boards, provincial labor federations, professional associations, investors, and businesses to gather opinions. Based on this, provincial and city people’s committees will send reports to Invalids and Social Affairs.

Real Data, Solid Foundation

Invalids and Social Affairs has conducted a survey of labor and wage conditions at 3,400 enterprises in 18 provinces and cities, representing 8 key economic regions. The survey results will be an important basis for the National Wage Council to consider and calculate the regional minimum wage increase for 2025.
