Prohibited Investment And Business Sectors

It is the responsibility of each investor, business, organization, and individual to understand the regulations on prohibited investment and business sectors when participating in the business market. At TPM, we are knowledgeable about Vietnamese law. Our mission is to assist investors, businesses, organizations, and individuals comply with the law, preventing violations, and avoiding serious consequences. At the same time, we help them select a suitable, safe, and effective business field. We also contribute to ensuring national security, social security, public health, ethics, social culture, the environment, and national economic interests.
 

Pursuant to Article 6 of the Investment Law 2020, the following business investment activities are prohibited: 

(1) Business in narcotic substances specified in Appendix I hereof;

(2) Business in chemicals and minerals specified in Appendix II hereof;

(3) Business in specimens of wild flora and fauna specified in Appendix 1 of Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora; specimens of rare and/or endangered species of wild fauna and flora in Group I of Appendix III hereof;

(4) Prostitution business;

(5) Human trafficking; trade in human tissues, corpses, human organs and human fetuses;

(6) Business activities pertaining to asexual human reproduction;

(7) Trade in firecrackers.

(8) Provision of debt collection services.

Note:  The Government’s regulations shall apply to production and use of the products mentioned in (1), (2), (3) during analysis, testing, scientific research, medical research, pharmaceutical production, criminal investigation, national defense and security protection.
