On the morning of August 19th, Mai Xuan Thanh, Director General of the General Department of Taxation, chaired a meeting with the Department of Administrative Management of Social Order – C06 (Ministry of Public Security) to discuss the implementation of Prime Minister’s Directive 18/CT-TTg. This directive aims to promote data connection and sharing to serve the development of e-commerce, prevent tax evasion, and ensure monetary security.
At the meeting, Deputy Director General Mai Son stated that the General Department of Taxation has actively contributed to the development and implementation of Project 06 on the application of population data, identification, and electronic authentication to serve the national digital transformation. Colonel Vu Van Tan, Deputy Director of C06, proposed a specific cooperation roadmap between the two units to successfully implement Project 06 and Directive 18. Accordingly, C06 and the General Department of Taxation will agree on a plan, coordinate with relevant ministries and agencies, and report the results to the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Public Security.
