On behalf of the General Department of Taxation of Vietnam, Deputy General Director Vu Chi Hung welcomed Deputy Director Duong Bien Bien and the delegation from the Yunnan Provincial Taxation Bureau of China for their visit. 

Deputy General Director Vu Chi Hung stated that this meeting provided an opportunity for the General Department of Taxation of Vietnam to share Vietnam’s tax policies and, through the exchange of experiences in tax administration with the Yunnan Provincial Taxation Bureau, to contribute to strengthening tax cooperation with Chinese tax authorities, thereby further tightening the traditional friendship and comprehensive, long-term cooperation between Vietnam and China. 

At the meeting, Deputy General Director Vu Chi Hung gave a general introduction to the organizational structure of the Vietnamese tax authority and the development trends of the Vietnamese tax system. At the same time, the two sides exchanged views on the direction of cooperation in tax administration between the Vietnamese tax authority and the Yunnan Provincial Taxation Bureau in the coming time.

Representing the Yunnan Provincial Taxation Bureau, Deputy Director Duong Bien Bien said that the visit of the Yunnan Provincial Delegation to Vietnam actively promotes the introduction of China’s tax policies and strengthens tax cooperation with neighboring countries. 

“The Yunnan Provincial Taxation Bureau highly values the cooperative relationship and the sharing of experiences in tax administration by the General Department of Taxation of Vietnam with the Yunnan Provincial Taxation Bureau. These valuable experiences will continue to contribute to promoting and strengthening cooperation in tax management between Yunnan Province – China and the tax authorities of Vietnam,” said Deputy Director Duong Bien Bien.
